Mark and Luanne Kunz
Luanne was born into the Herzig Family in Yakima,
Washington. She graduated from Selah High School in 1968.
Mark was
born in Seattle, Washington in 1954. He grew up in Edmonds and graduated from
Woodway High School in 1972 and from Shoreline Community College in 1975. After
college he volunteered for the U.S. Army as a saxophone player. Basic training
was at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri and advanced training at the Navy School of
Music in Virginia. The Presidio of San Francisco was the permanent duty
station. After his service ended, he went to Control Data Institute, graduating
in 1978 from the Electronics Technician Course. He was hired right out of
school by a company specializing in computer systems for Auto Dealers. Display
Data Corporation hired him for the Seattle area. In 1986 he was promoted to Los
Angeles. After two and a half years in California, he left the company, moved
back home and went to work for the Nelson Group of Auto Dealers as their
Systems Administrator. He and Luanne now live in Mukilteo. On July 12th 1997,
Luanne and Mark wed. Their brother-in-law, Mike Wade, built them a house. Mark
leads and plays woodwinds in the Moonlight Swing Orchestra.
